There are two photographs every riding group wants: the line of horses on an empty beach, and the ridge with mountains stacked behind. Here you can take both in the same week, from the same house.

The riding

We work with local equestrian guides who know the tides, the trails and their horses. A typical week mixes a long beach ride at low water, valley trails through the Saja-Besaya forests, and a high-pasture day among the native Tudanca cattle. Paces are set to the group, from steady hacks to proper canters along the sand.

Mixed abilities, honestly handled

Nervous riders get quiet horses and shorter loops; experienced riders get their faster group. Non-riders in the party have walking, surf and villages on the doorstep, and everyone shares the same table at night.

Why the house matters

Riding clubs book the estate whole: 12 bedrooms for up to 24, room for kit to dry, and dinners long enough to relive every stride. Ferry access via Santander suits anyone bringing serious gear.

Tell us your club's dates and we will build the riding week around you.
