These terms cover your use of agara.es. They're deliberately light, because this site is here to tell you about the house and let you enquire — the holidays themselves are booked and contracted elsewhere.

What this website is

agara.es is an informational and enquiry website for Casa Agara, an 18th-century hosted, catered casona in Fresneda de Cabuérniga, Cantabria, Spain. You can read about the house, the region and the hosted weeks, and send us an enquiry or join a waitlist. No booking, payment or contract is completed on this site.

Who we are, and who does the booking

Casa Agara is the accommodation and the host. We are not a tour operator or travel agency. The hosted weeks are sold as holiday packages by independent operators — Spice Escapes (current), and New You Escapes (yoga, coming soon). When you book, your holiday contract is with the operator, under their terms and conditions, which govern price, inclusions, payment, changes, cancellations and refunds. Please read them before you book.

Flights and financial protection

Casa Agara does not sell flights. Where a holiday includes flights or travel arranged by the operator, the relevant financial protection sits with that operator, including ATOL where it applies. Any ATOL protection and certificate come from the operator, not from Casa Agara.

Enquiries and waitlists

Sending an enquiry or joining a waitlist tells us you're interested and lets us help — it does not create a booking, hold a place, or guarantee availability, dates or price. A place is only confirmed once you've booked with the operator and they've confirmed it to you.

Getting it right

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate. Even so, details can change, and prices, dates and inclusions are ultimately set and confirmed by the operator at the time of booking. If something here matters to your decision, please check it with us or the operator first.

Using the site fairly

Please use the site lawfully and don't disrupt it, misuse the forms, or copy its content, images or branding without our permission. The text, photography and branding on agara.es belong to Casa Agara or are used with permission.

Links to operators and others

Where we link to an operator or third party, we do so to help you. We're not responsible for the content or terms of websites we don't run, including the operators' booking pages. Once you follow a link to book, that site's terms and privacy policy apply.

Liability

Nothing here limits any liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, Casa Agara isn't liable for the holiday arrangements sold and contracted by the operator.

Governing law

These terms and your use of the site are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute falls to the competent courts in Spain, without affecting consumer rights that can't be set aside by agreement.
