The money, plainly

The house is priced per week, not per room: from 3,600 euros in low season to 6,500 euros at Christmas and New Year. With a full group of 24 that starts under 150 euros per person for the week. It is the arithmetic that makes club trips and retreats work.

What organisers actually value
