It is a common question, and the answer is a happy yes. Our hosted weeks are built around a sociable table rather than a "singles only" rule, so couples fit in perfectly — and often it is couples who most enjoy having other adults to talk to over dinner rather than staring across a table for two all week.

How the rooms work

As a couple you simply share a double or twin room — no supplement, no fuss. You get your independent days and shared evenings just like everyone else, with the bonus of your own company when you want it.

The honest truth about single supplements

Because people ask, here is the straight version for solo guests on the scheduled weeks run with Spice Escapes. There is no forced single supplement: you can use their twin-share service, which matches you with a same-sex room-mate at no extra charge, and if they cannot find you a match, they pay any single-room supplement themselves. If you would rather have a room entirely to yourself, that is available as an optional supplement — your choice, clearly priced, never sprung on you. We would rather tell you plainly than pretend the sole-occupancy room is free.

Will we be the only couple?

Rarely. A typical week is a warm mix — solo travellers, the odd couple, people of different ages, all there for the walking, the coast and the good company. You will fit right in.

So, does it work?

It works beautifully: your own room, the shared table, and a valley full of things to do together. Come as two, leave having met a dozen more.
