You bring the people and the plan. We do the rest.

If you run a walking club, teach a class, organise for a U3A branch, or put together small trips for a living, you already know where the work hides. The bookings. The dinners, every night, for the whole group. The one person whose flight lands at midnight. A group activity holiday in Spain usually means juggling all of it yourself, from a spreadsheet, a thousand miles from the place.

There is a calmer way to do it. Bring your group to the Saja valley for a hosted, catered week built around whatever it is you do together. You lead the activity. We host the house, cook the meals, meet everyone at the airport, and handle the ground so you do not have to.

What "hosted and catered" actually means

Your group joins a week at Casa Agara, an 18th-century casona in the Saja-Besaya Natural Reserve, in Green Spain. You are not renting a building and then scrambling to feed everyone in it. It is a catered hosted week for groups, which is a different thing entirely. The house is run for you, start to finish.

We collect everyone from the airport in our two minivans. We cook. Half board is the shape of the day, breakfast and a home-cooked dinner, with house drinks at the table. Rob and María host, Chispa the dog included, so you are not quietly playing innkeeper on your own holiday while everyone else relaxes.

This is the week we do it: Solar Eclipse in Northern Spain.

Ask about a place

You keep the part you are good at. If you are a walking leader, you lead the walks and we point you at the trails that suit the group and the forecast. Bridge and walking, the same. A painting tutor sets up wherever the light is good, and the meals and the house stay ours to run. Yoga we know well, since we already host themed yoga weeks with New You Escapes, so the rhythm of a retreat is familiar ground.

The kinds of groups that come

Walking clubs after real hills with no coach tour attached. A teacher taking a small class somewhere quiet to work. A U3A group wanting a week of good walks and good dinners with none of the admin. Small operators who would rather run their own programme than run a kitchen. We also host themed weeks with operators like Spice Escapes, so the model is well worn by now.

Honest note. We are hosts and cooks, not guides. The expertise your group is coming for, the hill knowledge, the teaching, the class itself, that part is yours to bring. What we do is make the days run, so you spend yours on the activity and not on logistics. If you also need someone to design and lead the whole programme, we are probably not your best fit, and we will tell you straight.

How dates and prices work

Every group is a different size, a different length of stay, a different week of the year, so there is no single figure to print on a page. Tell us who you are bringing, roughly how many, what you want to do, and when. We come back with the dates that are open and a price for your week. No obligation, and an honest answer if we are not right for you.

Enquire about your group's week

You bring the people and the reason. We give you a valley, a warm house, someone else in the kitchen, and a week your group keeps talking about on the way home.

Tell us what you have in mind and roughly when, and we will send the dates we can host and a price for your group's own hosted week in the valley.
